Thank you Proton. Thank you for making such “wonderful” cars. Thank you for allowing Malaysians to buy your “quality” cars at “affordable prices”. What would we do without you manufacturing “good” cars for everyone?

Without you we would most probably have to buy good Japanese or European cars at more cheaper prices. Without you, we would have all the safety features and advancements which you bundle under the “advanced” or “optional” items of your cars.

For 9 years I have been driving your “excellent” product. Thank you so very much for such a “reliable” car indeed.

Thank you Proton for draining me more then 2000 shringgit of my hard earned cash on your “genuine” and “original” spare parts. Guess what, I could double that total cost if I included the cost of workmanship in the calculation above. Guess what too, during the same time I’ve also been driving a Perodua but shockingly I haven’t had as many parts to be replaced like the one you produced.

You wasted millions in your “zero-defect” campaign in numerous languages including German certainly reflected your “professionalism” indeed. The German dude you employed in your ads would never drive your “Asia’s BMW 3 Series” even if his life depended on it.

I on behalf of all Malaysians would like to thank you Proton; thank you from the bottom of our thinning pockets for being the pride of our nation. We can only share our “pride” with the rest of the world who are “fortunate” enough to be a fellow Proton owner.
